If you have lost your case, but feel that the result was incorrect and
unfair, you will be considering whether you can or should appeal the decision.
You may not know how to go about this. If you have not already done so, you may
first wish to get a sense of what is involved in bringing appeals by going to
the New Jersey Judiciary’s website. The Rules of Court governing practice before
the New
Jersey Supreme Court and Appellate Division.
We can discuss preliminarily, without cost, whether you may have grounds to
appeal. As the next step, thorough review of the record may be required to determine
whether appeal would be advised, for which I charge a flat fee. This cost would
be applied to total fee, if Appeal is taken.
If we do find that there is a sound basis on which to appeal, we can get right
to work in doing so. I have had extensive training in writing, and experience
in handling all manner of appeals, including petitions for Certification to the
New Jersey Supreme Court.
Sliding fee scale applies.
